Manoela Orsi is a contemporary artist creating symbolic figurative paintings shaped by an inner visionary force that guides her practice beyond the boundaries of the visible world.

Her work emerges from a deep connection to what is unseen—an intuitive language of images, sensations, and symbolic impressions that unfold through painting. Rather than constructing narratives in a literal sense, Orsi translates inner visions into layered visual metaphors, where meaning is never fixed but continuously shifting beneath the surface of the image.

Rooted in magical realism and contemporary figurative painting, her practice explores the threshold between reality and dream.

Each painting operates as a symbolic field rather than a single story. The work is guided by intuition rather than premeditated structureץ This process creates a sense that the paintings are not simply composed, but received—shaped by an internal logic that feels both personal and larger than the artist herself.

Recurring motifs and subtle disruptions form an evolving visual universe where the ordinary is quietly transformed. In these spaces, the familiar becomes strange, the symbolic becomes intimate, and the invisible begins to take form.

Born in Brazil and based in Israel since 2013, Orsi brings a multidisciplinary background in architecture, visual design, and art direction. These disciplines inform her sensitivity to composition, rhythm, and spatial construction, while her artistic practice remains grounded in intuition and an ongoing dialogue with the unseen.

Her work is held in private collections and has been exhibited in Israel.
